Former School Teacher joins Wagging Tails as Franchisee in East Sussex & Kent

Former school teacher Lesley Birch has joined the Wagging Tails Franchise network, recently launching her franchise in the East Sussex and Kent area.

On her decision to join Wagging Tails Lesley had this to say,

“Dogs have always been a part of my life and as a child whenever I complained that we never went on holiday my Dad always used to say that we had a choice – dogs or holidays but not both. Luckily today dog owners can have both thanks to the lovely Wagging Tails carers who welcome a dog into their home like a family member.

As rescue dogs, my dogs, Ted and Mabel both started their lives in kennels and if they could talk I know they would say a home is much, much nicer! I am thrilled that I can now do a job that they can be an active part of and offers other dogs a holiday rather than the gloomy prospect of kennels.”

Lesley launched her Wagging Tails Franchise in April 2015 and immediately looked into how she could best promote her business. Her first adverts for Carers to join her team prompted a fantastic response and Lesley is continuing to build her team. Talking about her experience so far Lesley commented,

I have been building on my technology skills and now have a good working relationship with my laptop and printer! The internal systems for Wagging Tails are easy to use and efficient and the training and the operations manual have been an invaluable source of reference for me. Knowing that there is someone at the end of the phone or email also gives me a great sense of reassurance.

I am in regular contact with my neighbouring colleagues and we swap ideas and best practice. I enjoy getting out and meeting people and their dogs and talking them through the amazing service that Wagging Tails offers.”
