This is obviously an important consideration in light of the challenging economic conditions many people have endured over the last decade.

The UK pet care industry has continued to grow throughout the economic decline and the number of dog owners in Britain is higher than ever.

Wagging Tails launched in 2007 and has steadily grown throughout the recent economic difficulties showing ours to be a recession-resistant business. Having proven our business model we launched our first UK pet franchise in December 2010 and have since seen franchisees go from strength to strength building their local businesses, with many of our franchisees established as the market leaders in their local areas.

“As the owner of a Wagging Tails franchise, I really feel as though I have been able to hit the ground running. Through dedicated training I have learned a great deal in a short space of time and feel I offer a professional service. Dog owners have confidence in me and Carers frequently express their gratitude for the support I offer. Receiving support and knowledge from Franchisors Lisa and Jim made the decision to start my own business a no-brainer.”
