Tails are Wagging in Glasgow

In February 2014 Wagging Tails launched their first Scottish dog boarding franchise. Jennifer Donald who is aided by her two dogs, Foxy and Monty (pictured), has had a flying start to the year. January saw her down in Hampshire training for 3 days at Wagging Tails HQ, before spending a day with an existing franchisee and then meeting the rest of the Wagging Tails team as they spent an afternoon at Hearing Dogs Headquarters, the company’s chosen charity for 2014.

Glasgow dog boarding franchisee Jennifer Donald with her dogs Foxy and MontySince her return to Scotland and official launch at the beginning of February Jennifer has been busy meeting fellow dog lovers who are keen to become carers. Speaking on her experience so far Jen commented,

“Running Wagging Tails Glasgow is a job I truly love and the service is clearly one that is in great demand.  Since my launch the business has grown quicker than I could ever have imagined and I am so lucky to have found so many great carers already and can’t wait to meet more. There is something so wonderful about knowing you are providing a great service and I just love hearing how much fun all the dogs are having on their Wagging Tails Holidays. It can be a little bit daunting starting up your own business but it has been so much easier knowing that Lisa and Jim are just a phone call away for any help and advice I might need or just to provide some words of encouragement.”

As of the end of March Jennifer already had 5 carers and dogs were enjoying their first Wagging Tails holidays with happy owners also booking their next visits!

“We knew there was huge demand from dog owners in Scotland to use the Wagging Tails service and it’s been no surprise to us that Jen already has repeat bookings.” says Director Lisa Suswain.

“Once an owner finds us and experiences our service, one that gives them complete peace of mind and their dog the undivided attention he’s used to at home then they stay with us for life. We have owners who are still using us seven years after we first launched. I hope in seven years’ time Jen will be sharing stories of the dogs that have been boarding with her carers since her launch!”
