Following another record breaking year which saw the franchise network grow for the 8th year in a row, Wagging Tails recently welcomed franchisees to their annual Conference in the New Forest on 26th September 2018.
Over the last year growth has been heavily driven by the newer franchises in the network with those trading for three years or less doubling in size on average in the last 12 months.
Following a theme of “Back to Basics” the 2018 Conference focussed on what has put Wagging Tails at the forefront of the pet care industry and how franchisees can utilise this to ensure their businesses remain ahead of the competition.
Wagging Tails were delighted to welcome their very own trainee Hearing Dog, Neve, accompanied by her volunteer socialiser Doug who gave a talk on his involvement with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a charity that Wagging Tails have now supported for over four years, raising over £19,000 in this period.
The Wagging Tails 2018 Awards saw Kevin Wright and Hilary Coates (for the third year in a row) share the coveted Franchisee of the Year Award, whilst Peterborough Franchisee, Shirley Lilley collected the New Franchisee of the Year Award. Teresa Bowers and Hilary Coates also received awards in recognition of achieving Gold Tier Franchise status.
