Wagging Tails upgraded to full BFA members

British Franchise Association full member logoWagging Tails has recently been upgraded from Provisional to Full Members of the British Franchise Assocation (bfa).

Referring to their new status Wagging Tails Director Jim Suswain stated,

“We are very proud to have been accepted as full members of the British Franchise Association. Since entering into franchising Wagging Tails has been committed to building a successful and ethical business network, something which this reaffirms.”

The bfa was formed by the major franchise companies in the UK in 1977 to act in the interest of the industry as a whole in assessing and accrediting franchising companies as those which meet its criteria for the structure of the franchise business, the terms of the contract between franchisor and franchisee, the testing of the system and its success as a franchise.

One of the bfa’s main roles is to help potential franchisees recognise the good franchises and the not-so-good, as well as to help businesses involved in franchising to secure their own position amongst the “good”.

According to the bfa website,

“Full Members of the bfa are established franchised businesses with a proven trading and franchising record. They are prepared to have their reputation examined by the bfa, and have an established network of franchisees.”
